Summer School

Interactive, Customised, and Intensive Lessons

Our Tibetan Language Summer School, held annually between July and August, offers an immersive learning experience both online and in-person at the University of Oxford. Designed for learners of all levels, our intensive two-week programme provides daily Tibetan classes in a structured yet flexible format. Lessons are scheduled to accommodate different time zones and learning commitments, ensuring an engaging and productive experience.

In-Person Course (Oxford)

  • Venue: Faculty of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies, University of Oxford

  • Length: Two weeks (Exact dates to be confirmed)

  • Levels: All levels welcome

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old

  • Class Size: Average 10, maximum 15 students

  • Course Fee: £395 (Early bird price: £350 if applied before 1st June)

  • Hours: 1.5-hour lessons (two per day + an additional evening session on

  • Buddhism & culture)

Meals: Not included, but Oxford offers a variety of

restaurants and an international food market at reasonable prices.

Accommodation: Lodging is not provided, but we can assist

you in finding suitable accommodation in colleges or private homes.
